Menstrual Cycle Coaching for Burnout, Confidence & Emotional Wellbeing

For Women Who Are Burnt Out, Overwhelmed, or Disconnected from Themselves

Your menstrual cycle isn’t just about your period — it’s a full-body, emotional, energetic rhythm. Yet most of us were never taught how to understand it, work with it, or even notice its impact.

Cycle awareness is a way of coming home to yourself — learning how your energy, emotions, focus, and confidence shift throughout the month, and how to move with those changes instead of against them.

Through menstrual cycle coaching, you can learn to:

  • Understand your emotional patterns

  • Prevent burnout by aligning your energy with your cycle

  • Make confident decisions without second-guessing yourself

  • Reconnect to your body, boundaries, and natural rhythm

  • Build emotional resilience and self-trust

Whether you’re struggling with low moods before your period, feeling overwhelmed mid-cycle, or simply disconnected from your body — your cycle might be the missing piece.

Why Cycle Awareness Works So Well in Coaching

When we ignore our cycle, we often ignore ourselves — pushing through exhaustion, doubting our emotions, or wondering why we feel “off” without a clear reason. In coaching, cycle awareness becomes a mirror: a way to track what’s really happening, emotionally and energetically, and meet it with curiosity and care.

Instead of always striving for “balance” or “consistency,” menstrual cycle coaching invites you to move with your natural fluctuations — building self-awareness, self-compassion, and lasting confidence.
And this awareness supports us — in our personal lives, in our relationships, and in the workplace. To hear more about my journey with menstrual cycle awareness, click here; otherwise choose from a button below that is right for you.

Awareness

Learning how to track your cycle will empower you to tap into your own natural rhythm. There is no more feeling ashamed of who you are, working against yourself and losing energy or your sense of self each month. Instead you learn how to meet and welcome yourself, honour what is around for you and take aligned, grounded action.

Self Trust

So many women and people who menstruate do not know how to trust themselves. You too might have struggled to listen to yourself, hear yourself, and execute your boundaries  - to access that inner knowing and belief in yourself that guides you. Practicing menstrual cycle awareness will help you cultivate that deep inner trust that will guide you in life, your work, your leadership, and your relationships.

Authentic Leadership

Connecting with your cycle is an embodiment and mindfulness practice, that awakens your power as a person who menstruates, and will unlock your authentic leadership.

Women and menstruators can often be frightened of their power. We've been taught to deny it and stay small. But the world needs your power, and it needs your leadership, and this comes from being deeply grounded within yourself.

Journaling and Tracking

Learning to track your menstrual cycle is the first step towards understanding it. There are plenty of apps available, but it doesn't need to be overly complicated. Use whichever method works for you. Personally, I like to put pen to paper - the old-fashioned way.

My cycle awareness journey

Cycle Day 22 - Inner Autumn

Start tracking your cycle

My Menstrual Cycle Awareness Journey as a Life and Leadership Coach

Menstrual cycle awareness is at the core of my coaching philosophy. I discovered it in 2018 — during a time when, on the surface, life was going really well. My career was on track, I was deeply in love, and I had strong friendships and support around me.

But internally, something didn’t feel right.

Why did I feel so inconsistent?

There were days when I was my own best friend — clear, energised, confident. And then there were days when I turned on myself like a bully.

One week, I could walk into a boardroom and hold my ground with power and ease. A few weeks later, in the exact same setting, I could barely string a sentence together.

These emotional swings were becoming harder to manage. And it started to feel like they were sabotaging everything I had worked so hard for.

Then I Found Menstrual Cycle Awareness

Cycle awareness gave me something I didn’t know I was missing — a language for understanding myself.

It showed me that I wasn’t meant to be “always on.” I wasn’t failing. I was simply cyclical.

I began listening to myself differently. I started tracking not just my period, but my emotions, energy, needs, and inner landscape throughout the month. I saw patterns. I built trust. I learned how to give myself what I needed — rather than push through and burn out.

This work gave me emotional regulation, boundaries, compassion, and eventually, action. The kind of action that feels aligned, sustainable, and true.

How It Changed My Coaching — and My Life

It did not take me long to realsie this was the work I wanted to be doing in this work, and today, I support women and menstruators who want to:

  • Recover from burnout

  • Feel more confident and emotionally grounded

  • Reconnect to their bodies and needs

  • Lead authentically without compromising their health

I’ve seen how menstrual cycle awareness transforms careers, relationships, and lives — because I’ve lived it.

Why the Workplace Needs This Too

When I work with organisations, I carry this same message into boardrooms. If we want women and menstruators to take up space, lead with clarity, trust themselves, and not burn out in the process — we can’t keep ignoring the cycle.

We need menstrual cycle awareness not just at the individual level, but as part of how we design leadership, performance, and inclusion in the workplace.

For Queer Couples Navigating Shared Cycles

Support for Queer Relationships When You Both Have a Cycle

Is menstrual cycle awareness the missing piece of your relationship?

Our energy, emotions, and capacity for everyday life all shift across the menstrual cycle. You know the feeling — one week you're grounded and communicative, the next you're sensitive, withdrawn, or overwhelmed. And when both you and your partner are cycling? It can be hard enough to understand yourself, let alone each other.

Maybe you’re navigating PMS, PMDD, anxiety, or low moods.

Maybe you're syncing as a lesbian couple — or you’re at opposite ends of your cycles, clashing in energy and intimacy. One of you might be peri-menopausal, while the other isn’t, adding yet another layer of complexity.

Whatever your dynamic, your cycles are always in the room with you. And when they’re not acknowledged, they can quietly erode connection, communication, and emotional safety.

But it doesn’t have to be that way.

What Cycle Awareness Brings to your relationship

Learning to track your cycle — and then your partner’s — gives you both language, understanding, and softness for what’s really going on. This isn’t about becoming “perfect.” It’s about recognising the natural rhythm that already exists in your relationship, and learning to move with it.

This work is for queer couples who want to:

  • Communicate more clearly

  • Honour each other’s cyclical rhythms

  • Deepen emotional connection and intimacy

  • Navigate shared or mismatched cycle phases with compassion

Whether you're dealing with emotional burnout, low moods, or simply feel like you're missing each other more than you'd like — menstrual cycle awareness for queer couples can help you come back to each other, again and again
