And yet — in hospitality — it’s often the most underdeveloped area.

The industry is known for its energy, passion, and heart. But it also has a long-standing reputation for lacking the leadership skills that truly sustain a business:
Self-awareness. Emotional intelligence. Communication. People Development.

Leadership in hospitality has too often meant stress, burnout, excusing behaviours, and saying "that's just the industry". But that version is outdated.

I help organisations to define their values, understand their why, and what that looks like for them day-to-day, cultivating a company culture that supports retention, reputation, and longevity.

​We all need extra support at pivotal times in our careers. I offer 1:1 coaching and support to business owners, restaurant managers, and chefs in areas such as self-management, people management, leadership, career progression, confidence, anxiety, and team dynamics.

A bit more about Me.

My background spans both corporate and hospitality sectors. I spent over a decade in the corporate and private sector, specialising in leadership development, performance, and culture change. I worked with teams and leaders to shift the way they showed up — for themselves, for their teams, and for the business.

Eventually, I left to start my own coaching and consulting practice, focused on women’s leadership through a menstrual cycle-informed lens. Around the same time, I moved to Edinburgh and — feeling lonely and wanting some casual work to support me whilst I grew my business— I picked up a few shifts at a local restaurant, going back to my hospitality roots where I originally started my career. What started as a way to supplement my income and get me out of the house became a turning point for me, my business, and how I saw hospitality.

What I observed was an industry, businesses, and people full of soul, heart, and purpose... but struggling with leadership, people dynamics, and culture.

The gap was stark.
Brilliant owners and staff, but little support or education on what good, modern leadership actually looks like, and I felt frustrated on their behalf.
In an industry so rich with talent, energy, and ambition, outdated systems and ways of thinking were holding it back. I could see there was passion — but not always the people practices needed to support it.

This mismatch, between the potential and the reality, lit something up in me.

So I started talking to people, sharing what I saw, offering a different perspective....and that turned into something more.

Now, I bring everything I’ve learned across sectors into the hospitality world — supporting businesses to lead better, manage their people well, and build workplaces where purpose, performance, and wellbeing can co-exist.

It’s not about perfection, it’s about progress.
And I believe hospitality is ready for that next chapter.
